At The Roof Doctor we install granulated rubber roofs that never need to be coated. We can also coat your existing smooth rubber roof. Our granulated rubber roof installation does not include torches. We use white granulated rubber that is self-adhering, and requires no torching. This means no open flames on the roof.
A torch-down smooth rubber roof only lasts 10-15 years, needs to be coated every two to four years, and is black; making your house hotter. White granulated rubber never needs to be coated, will last a minimum of twenty years and the white coating reflects UV rays; keeping your home cooler in the summer.
